Supervisor Transportation

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist to monitor routes daily and make necessary adjustments for lateness and related problems
  • Assist to monitor and assign the work of subordinates to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with management requirements
  • Spot check at different bus depots regularly
  • Participate in training of personnel and issue manuals, bulletins, and technical guides to improve services and operational activities
  • Assign subordinates to distribute promotional flyers at selected locations directed by management
  • Inspect physical facilities of shuttle buses for such factors as cleanliness, safety, and appearance, and takes required actions in order to meet prescribed standards
  • Assist to monitor the performance and attitude of bus drivers and feedback to bus contractor whenever any issues arise
  • Liaise with bus contractor for operation issues
  • Handle inquiries and complaints regarding transportation service
  • Prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports related to routing, schedules, inbound visitation, accidents and other shuttle bus services issues
  • Negotiate with bus contactor for dispatching replacement buses if vehicles involved in accidents

  • 2 years or above relevant experience in transportation operations, preferably in supervisory level, with less experience candidate would be considered as Assistant Manager.
  • Proven ability on operation management, leadership and risk management
  • Adopt and implement new approaches and practices to meet changing circumstances


  • Tertiary Qualifications

Skills / Competencies

  • Proficiency in PC knowledge (MS office, Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and Chinese Word Processing
  • Good command of spoken & written English and Chinese
  • Creative, presentable, well-organized, initiative, responsible and with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • To be flexible and accommodating as this may require extra hours out of normal work hours
  • Pleasant and mature disposition
  • Able to define problems and problems solving
  • Able to work under pressure and result driven
  • Work independently and as a team player
